I would like, for once, to have a serious talk with you In person. Unfortunately, that Is Impossible not only because we are In different countries, but also because I still have a lot to learn from English; I couldn't follow the conversation fluidly. Also, even If I was multilingual, I realized that the best way I can express myself Is In the writing medium. So, I avoid talking more than I should, saying Inappropriate things and starting fights... However, and as you can see, I couldn't avoid doing any of that when we communicated and said a lot of things that brought obvious consequences. If It wasn't the last straw, I also have a defense response problem when I speak specifically with men; no matter who they are, how old they are, If I want to end the conversation or keep talking, and regardless of the subject. ¿Why? I don't know, I barely noticed It a few months ago. Anyway, although I admire you I couldn't control myself, I got even with you though It wasn't your fault because I'm an emotional disaster and, well, you know, lo lamento mucho. And It's serious, I can feel It In my chest and It doesn't feel good. Also, now I understand you a little more; I have become Involved In talks with other people with whom the fact of not having given them any material to answer Is not an obstacle, anyway they do It. Whatever the situation may be, sometimes even If It doesn't make much sense to continue, they continue because they don't wanna feel abandoned again and they don't care If you care or not because they cling to the Insignificant amount of affection and/or understanding that you gave them. While you, who try not to be rude, begin to feel obligated, even responsible. Another thing I understand now Is that my character and behavior Isn't just my problem; I mean, It Is... when It comes to fixing It, but not when It comes to knowing who Is going to be affected by It. No, I'm not saying I matured or anything like that either; I haven't done It yet and I know It because I know myself (or so I think), but the point Is that I'm aware that I'm wrong and that, It's not about who can, but who should fix It and that should be me. Therefore, lamento having wasted your time (even If you said that you didn't matter, I know I did It at some point), lamento having made you repeat things that you had probably already explained to others before me, lamento having you offended and Insulted, lamento having been a parasite for you, lamento having used you as a verbal punching bag, lamento having been exaggerated, scandalous and demanding, lamento having lied you (maybe only "I didn't tell you the truth" but I have to admit It, It was a lie) and lamento have lost you. You were... my friend. You are still a friend to me, but I think the best thing for both of us Is that you don't answer this message. But I personally ask you not to do it, I don't have the right, the time or the will to keep talking, to be honest. So what I'll do Is leave this here for a day and a half to make sure you read It. If there's anything else I want to say (again) Is: ¿Have you ever Identified so much with someone such a degree that Is Impossible for you, or do you think It's Impossible, to express It? Well, I ask that question when I feel so; sometimes you replied magically to what I thought and stole my words over and over again, making my answers seem Incompetent and weak. WATCH: I'm not fighting, I'm trying to express the reasons why I admire you. And If there's anything else I should say Is: Thank You, you helped me from Improving my English to understanding more the real development of a character..., going through patience, now that I think about It.
Conclusion: It was a truly pleasure have to meet you, bro.
¿Ya' know what? I don't see why I should eliminate the only thing that didn't bother me. I'll leave it here. Also, if in spite of everything, you decide to answer something, I don't want your fingers to fall (well-read blog) XD, but I wanna make sure you read it before it was erased, anyways.
Something improbable, though. I know you said that the 2003 TV series actually had "something like that" happen. But..., neither the fifth "lost" season nor Fast Forward were an "alternative continuity". The fifth season were only "jumped" over the sixth. I don't doubt that there is a fan creating his own final version of the series, the trouble is: I seriously doubt that he could be accepted by Ciro Nieli or whoever is in charge of the series ... and more, when it's confirmed that the series is over... right? (I wrote this in here because, for any reason,i couldn't awnser in TMNTPedia)
I don't mind talking with you, so it's not a matter of you bothering me. But in the past, I've made requested edits on behalf of blocked Wikia users before, and it didn't turn out well. I was once also banned from another Wikia by a hostile and seemingly paranoid administrator, and even many different people speaking on my behalf only made that admin feel ganged up on and hardened their decision. So I now have a personal policy of not making these kinds of edits, and not counting on them getting me out of trouble either.
The heart of the matter is, when a wiki blocks you, they don't want to hear from you again on the wiki (as long as the block duration lasts), and having someone else posting a message for you will likely only antagonize them and make you appear to disrespect their authority, which might actually make a ban even more permanent than it otherwise might have been.
If there is a solution to your problem, it may be another diplomatic one, like when you negotiated with The S on Facebook to be unbanned from the English-language Turtlepedia. I did not intervene on your behalf, and ultimately you fixed the problem on your own. Of course, this depends on the strength of your negotiating skills and how receptive a wiki administrator is to your points. Every admin is different, and every situation is different, so what worked with The S might actually backfire and make your situation even worse with a different admin.
It may feel painful to be shut out of a Wikia wiki for a topic you're devoted to, and feel as if you're being shut out of the very fandom itself. But we all have to deal with capricious human personalities online, and it's not the end of the world if some of them are hostile to you. No one conveniently-positioned fan is the gatekeeper for the entire fandom.
I'm sorry so much! I thought I was damned but the admin just gave me a lesson; She unblocked me today. Anyway I thank you for not listening to me, i appreciate that kind of policy (We sell burgers and after seven times my father decided not to trust people to pay him later, and i roundly agree.) But when you said about the the block duration lasts i thought "Wait, I've not seen how long I'll be locked... fuck." And I had just to wait, then. And she's strict... but healthy minded. (I just didn't resolved the problem by Facebook 'cause she hadn't an account.) But thank so much; I often think I'm annoying. :)
I'm pretty sure you already saw what I wrote 'bout my age, I suppose you already suspected by the way I talk. I mean, I could know aproximately how old Stan is due to that. But that's not the point; I know maybe you thought, "Now it all makes sense." because I told ya' I was gonna be mature, serious and whatever... but I never could be completely so: Inside my head a lot of jokes and silly jesting fought to get out. And I know that wanting you to appreciate my thoughts and opinions doesn't justify making you think that I am older than I really am and I also know that your expectations of me are gonna come down, no matter what you or I say.
I don't know if you ever felt that you were so in agreement with someone that you couldn't manifest it; Well, that's what I feel when I talk to you: It might be because you steal my words, or there isn't simply anything more to say... and my scrawny Inglish doesn't help me.
In Inglish you can only say "I'm sorry" butin Spanish there are two ways: "Lo siento" and "Lo lamento", the second has a stronger meaning,so...
All right. To be honest, it was never easy to guess your age. But there are many grown adults who aren't necessarily more mature. I'd heard that one of the bigger recurring criticisms of Kevin Eastman's solo work is that it seems stuck in the mind of a 12-year-old boy with his approach to violence, cursing and profanity. The only possible hint I could think of that you could be so young, was your haphazard punctuation and capitalization, which I knew might have only been because English isn't your first language, and I wasn't about to make an issue out of that as long as you were clear enough and made a good effort.
My attitude about young people on the MNT Gaiden Wiki is the same approach to movie theater admission rules for R-rated movies. If your parents are okay with reading this wiki or the webcomic, then you can read it. You can even make user message wall comments and such, within reason.
But I've actually been looking for editors, which for this wiki are still very few—most of the time it's only me. I want to maintain a seasoned, mature approach to maintaining this place. I'm in my thirties. So is Tigerfog, and he started this comic in his twenties. Maturity isn't just being allowed to read mature stuff without an adult's consent—it's also having the faculties to process what you're reading like an adult can, and to appreciate concepts on an adult level of understanding. And like you seem to already understand, it's not quite possible for a 13-year-old to do that yet. Before you revealed your age, I might have been open to you becoming an editor of articles. But if you're actually just thirteen, you should probably wait at least four or five years first.
Yes; Reading "Body Count" I realized that Kevin was ... like he is. And I agree with that criticism, that reminds me of TMNT vol. 1 # 11 - True Stories in Part:
April pontificates about his frustrations with a Casey Bernid Jones. She feels that there is a struggle between a 10-year-old adult and a semi-functional adult. Unfortunately, the 10-year-old is winning. "
(Although, I think Case is even more mature)
And even if you had offered me to be an editor, I wouldn't have touched this wiki at all; I told you I didn't wanna ruin anything you've done here, because, compared to you, I'm new to this and I've had bad experiences with editions.
And when I talked about pizza and food in general, I meant it, I know how to cook and I like it.
Also when I was talking about Mirage, 1990, 1991 and 1993 films, IDW, Archie, 1987,2003,2012 Series, dA, and everything, I was really serious about what I thought about all of them and yes, TMNT Mirage is my favorite version, everything I said about everything is true. I just wanted you to know it. (And when I said I needed to know what college career to learn SOON, I meant it, too.)
All of that is fair. Like you said, you don't seem to have lied. You just spoke about college preparation and allowed it to sound like you were older than you are. If anything, it's admirable that someone your age is trying to take their long-term education goals seriously.
Yes, that isn't by me; It's thanks to my parents. My mother always tells my bro and me we should already know what we're gonna study. My father says :"learn things you like now that you can". And my brother has prepared his whole life... even if it goes wrong, what can I do but to follow suit? Since 5 years ago, I've been trying not to lie, not even to "help" my friends, but that ends up not mattering to me because, you feel free. You must try it.
What's up,man? i couldn't reply you in TurtlePedia cuz' ...i'm BLOQUED! (i don't wanna talk about that, please) but when i discovered YOU ARE THE FRICKING ADMINISTRATOR OF THE Mutant Ninja Turtles Gaiden Wiki,it was so late :( Meh, i just wanted to tell you that I'M YOUR FAN! i mean, you were brave when doing this Wiki page and i thank you for doing it!
Hey, I'm just a librarian—I haven't really created anything, and I don't necessarily have more access to Tigerfog than anyone else does. I was already doing MNT Gaiden articles on Turtlepedia before The S requested that they be moved off-wiki because he was discontinuing Turtlepedia's hosting of fan material articles, so most of the work on this wiki was already done on Turtlepedia before moving it here.
Alright, maybe i was exaggerating-i understood very well that of "librarian" (i'm... sorry?) Anyways i have many things to tell you. Well, then just a question;¿do that mean MNT Gaiden is not official YET? 'cause i know it was created in DeviantArt...but...what?
(Oh, and i'm sorry for the way i talk to you...it's kinda "rude")
No, I understand there's a bit of a language barrier.
And no, MNT Gaiden is not expected ever to become an officially-licensed version of TMNT. That's part of why it publishes entirely for free.
There is nothing official about the MNT Gaiden Wiki. It is not endorsed by Mirage, Viacom or Tigerfog, though he is aware of its existence. This is an independent fan-driven effort, and it always was. You should realize that even Turtlepedia has no official status; it too is an unofficial fan-driven effort.
Anyway, now that you're here, I should clarify that the MNT Gaiden Wiki currently has no specific written rules apart from those that apply to all Fandom wikis. However, that is not to say that I don't have an idea of what is the appropriate way to manage this wiki. For example, I understand you got in trouble at Turtlepedia for posting fanart without credit. That would also be a problem here. The images posted here are either:
MNT Gaiden source media by Tigerfog or guest artists. Only Tigerfog has granted blanket permission to use his published images here, and I carefully categorize and index the images I use. For new comic pages from MNT Gaiden and Bakabakashii, I have specific file names for each comic page and each file submission page has specific templating, so I'll probably be handling all of these.
MNT Gaiden comparison images, such as the one below. I have criteria for these too, since they are meant to be relevant to the articles they're found in.
Images intended as forum response images, such as the one below. Even then, there are limits. I actually made this one mainly for Turtlepedia talk pages, mostly for criticizing Nickelodeon's episodes, writing and production decisions. All response images should be in appropriate taste and remain civil and respectful toward other users. The Donatello response image you used here is acceptable for this purpose, but it should be kept in talk pages or your user page or your user blog posts—not in articles themselves.
Original artwork and graphics created by editors to assist this wiki. These images should have genuinely useful value in articles, etc. I've opted not to host MNT Gaiden fanart. However, a floorplan of a location (such as the Jones Apartment) is not out of the question, if the graphic is well-constructed.
This wiki isn't a random image dumping ground. Practically everything I've uploaded here has a purpose. Keep non-article-related uploads to a minimum. Treat this wiki like an orderly library—keep things as tidy as you found them.
I am a decent editor and wiki technician, but unlike The S, I am not a good moderator of other people, so I'd rather not have to be one. As it is, I'm barely even a team player. I expect good adult behavior and tidy article editing practices from other editors. However, don't worry too much about things like perfect English grammar and spelling, as long as you try your best to be clear and tidy. Even Tigerfog speaks English as a second language.
You know? it is very sad (to me) that MNT Gaiden is never gonna be an official version of TMNT but it's good that it is taken like a good and complet comic.
AND I GET IT... I was irresponsible to upload images without first clearing the question of what the hell was SPAM .... and now,i'll try to NOT upload any image in any moment,'cause no matter if i want; i don't wanna more troubles,OK?
Just trust, you can assure i won't ruin your work in here,i will be respectful...i'm actually a little angry but i'm gonna control myself
(Ah, and i'm not even over twenty years old,but i know what is maturity and decency, thatks anyways :) )
I can be rather stiff, cold and/or robotic at times, but everything's all right. Like I said, I'm not a very good moderator of people, and not always a good team player. I don't always think of these things until they're right in front of me, so I had to think about them all at once.
Actually, what do you think of the wiki's appearance and styling? In a PC web browser, I mean—the mobile site looks very different as it does for all Fandom wikis. Is it readable? Is it too dark? Can the black shadow effect be seen when you hover the mouse cursor over wiki links? Does the wiki's title, "Mutant Ninja Turtles Gaiden Wiki", appear in a comics font?
Ha, XD i already noticed that-i was going to ask you if it was just because one administrator scolded me once or all the administrator are so..."severe". But my brother is like that,so i'm already accustomed just DONT WORRY,BE HAPPY :)
Look,i love the new style but i admit that it was a little bit confusing when i enter here not because it was poorly designed nor anything but because this one is ...uhm... faster to get to wherever you want,i mean,i was used to move in Turtlepedia, only that, and my phone is not one "new" so i can't explore every piece of the wiki like i would want, but they are white letters, you can bet it's readable enough. And like i said,i love it dark and no beige.I will be honest,i cannot see the black shadow effect at times, and that's a little "troublesome"
I made sure a standard Template:MNTGaidenNavbox would be on just about every article, quick-linking most of the wiki's resources. That wouldn't necessarily be practical for Turtlepedia with such a huge number of different topics, but MNT Gaiden has few enough unique topics to make it practical.
And I have extremely light-sensitive grey eyes, so staring at a light background too long hurts my eyes, even with my monitor set to its dimmest lightness setting. This wiki looks very dark to some people, especially with darker eyes that filter more light. (Also, check your monitor's lightness setting. Maybe yours is just too dim?) I wanted to strike a balance, so that people with darker eyes could appreciate at least some of the beauty of the dark rust-red color scheme, but people with lighter eyes could read or work on it for long periods of time without our eyes hurting. The black shadow hover effect may be most difficult to see, because it contrasts black against already dark and dull rust red, but I didn't want to make the background too much lighter.
As for the color scheme itself, bright red (like the hyperlinks) is the color of fresh blood, while dull rust-red (like the background) is the color of both dried blood and iron rust. Similar colors are used as part of the color scheme for the MNT Gaiden official website, so I decided to try something similar here. TMNT's first title logo in 1984 also used bright red for impact: ...though the pages themselves were purely black and white.
I've come to loathe Fandom's mobile site. It renders wikis extremely ugly, and MNT Gaiden's Navbox doesn't seem to show up for whatever reason.
Well i have dark eyes (almost black)—and i appreciate too much this background, but yes,i have my monitor dim (just a little) altough, you're not gonna believe me but i wear sunglasses, exactly to do not hurt me,but even without them i can see very clear here (and when i'm gonna hover the mouse cursor over the some link i take them off) Also, i always have loved that title logo!!!
¡AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPEN TO ME WITH THE FRICKING MOBILE SITE!
I've spoken a lot with Tigerfog asking specific questions, and he was willing to answer some of them. The rest is an analysis of implication and probability, but that can't be mistaken for facts.
Tigerfog made it clear that Splinter's clone is itself the demon's current vessel as the Tōtsuka Sword was before, and that the voice of "Splinter" in Donatello's head is the demon itself posing as Splinter. Also, notice carefully in some scenes with the Splinter clone, and there are lots of tiny little additional skulls poking out of the clone's neck, and recall that Yamata-no-Orochi was described as having eight heads. So yeah, confirmed it's the demon trying to revive and is using Donnie to do it. (I didn't even guess that the clone was the Orochi's vessel until Tigerfog actually said so.)
Leonardo's love for Sadao is ambiguous. It could be romantic or it could just be like that of a brother. We know Leo loves Sadao; we just don't know the extent of that love.
Mikey was indeed cursed, but he's been in the best position to deal with it. He had a supportive nurturing family environment to help him through it, which is something neither Donnie and Raph have had most of these years. And Leo's cursed nature is particularly volatile because one of its symptoms is mass-murder, so it has been especially difficult for him to maintain a stable environment.
It's strongly implied that Eikichi could be Davianna's father—that is, even assuming Sayako is Davianna's mother. So, that's an unconfirmed "if" depending on another unconfirmed "if". I mean, it's at least notable that Davianna with her hair let down looks like she could be Sayako's twin. In my opinion, Sayako is probably Davianna's mother, and Tigerfog may actually be trying to imply it as blatantly as he can, but I'd still prefer to wait for confirmation before saying outright that they are mother and daughter. Even if that's confirmed, I'd still prefer to wait for additional confirmation before saying outright that Eikichi is Davianna's father.
I don't know if Leo ever loved Sayako. They barely met, and didn't really have much time to get to know each other. That said, it is clear that Leo cared about her safety 16 years before, but also may have been the one who killed her in Sendai 12 years before. But, once again, we still don't know for certain. It may even be a stretch to assume (as the wiki currently does) that Sayako is even dead.
Leo's association with Davianna is still uncertain. All we know for sure is that Leo recognizes Davianna's Magatama. This strongly implies that Leo probably knew about Davianna years ago, but I wouldn't venture too far to speculate what's going on with them.
Wild mass guessing can be a fun activity, and I've done it extensively in MNT Gaiden comments on deviantART. But when you edit wiki articles, speculation can be a bad thing, making articles more biased and less objectively useful in documenting their topic. As things are, it is possible that the small amount of speculation currently found in articles may be too much.
I know you're fishing for my personal opinions of what I think is definitely going to happen, but the truth is that I cannot be sure of anything that will happen. I have theories here and there, but nothing I'd be willing to bet on. When it comes down to it, MNT Gaiden is a work of fiction—it's whatever the writer wants it to become, even if it may end up not making sense and having lots of plot holes. I don't necessarily know anything more about the story's future than the next reader.
We then have to wait for see Leo and Sadao's relationship. I definitely think Eikichi,Sayako and Davianna are "family" (I also wanna know Davianna's real japanese name) and i wanna know what exactly Magatama does,'cause we don't know anything apart of Davianna had it. And i get my idea about "Leo loves Sayako" from here in the comment #20 (from top to bottom) but i actually *Tks* don't think so.
Uuuuffff... i thought as Mikey was "not" cursed, it means...his brothers NEVER were either, but thank you for your confimations. :)
Now, just a last question: Do you think...Yamata No Orochi will really.... RETURN!!!
Personally, yeah, I think Davianna is Sayako's daughter, and Eikichi could be Davianna's father. But like Tigerfog said, Eikichi is EliteFootDouchebag. XD I once wondered if it's possible Leo could be Davianna's father. I wish Tigerfog would return and resume the comic.
But yeah, Mikey and his brothers have all indeed been cursed. Tigerfog explained it in detail on day, and an excerpt from that appears as a reference in Mikey's article. I actually didn't write most of that article—it was written by the dA user who calls himself Mikael Buonarotti.
The Orochi has already been in the process of returning. The Kusanagi Sword's disappearance was supposed to signify that. The problem is still that the Orochi has no viable host yet; Donnie was finally able to successfully clone "Leo", but the Splinter clone is a skeleton because it died. Nevertheless, like the Tōtsuka Sword, the Splinter clone remains a cursed object and acts as a non-moving vessel for the Orochi until a viable one is available. And if you think about it, Donnie probably has the curse way worse than any of this brothers, because he's been working directly with cursed objects for 17 years. The sword was cursed, Splinter's ashes (which, if you recall, were mixed with the sword's ashes) were also cursed, and each attempt to clone Splinter is cursed. Buf if you're wondering if I think the Orochi will successfully return in a viable vessel? ...I guess that's what we're all here waiting to find out. Tigerfog has been good at avoiding spoilers, so your guess is as good as mine.
The only one not yet confirmed to appear is the Yasakani-no-Magatama. However, it is also possible it has already appeared, and Davianna has been wearing it for most of her life. Leo immediately recognized the Magatama around Renoir's neck, and asked if the girl who gave it to her was Asian, and demanded to see her pictures. When Davianna gave it to Renoir, she told him it protects its wearer.
This is all very, very suspicious. We can't infer in the articles without confirmation, but this is my guess: It seems likely that Davianna was given the Yasakani-no-Magatama before she was sent overseas for adoption, and I think it's likely that Leo made sure Davianna had it, perhaps as a promise to Sayako before Sayako had to be executed. Davianna probably has no idea of its significance and may think of its alleged protection as just a traditional charm from Japanese culture with no real power. But if it is the Yasakani-no-Magatama and it's a supernatural object like the other two, then it may actually have real protection powers. If Davianna is a Morinaga, she is already immune to the Curse, so this protection would have to be something in addition to that immunity she already has. But if the Yasakani-no-Magatama was meant to protect to Davianna, it probably no longer does—she gave it to Renoir as a Christmas gift. Now I think Renoir has a certain protection no one intended him to have. But again, this is all wild mass guessing, and my theory may be completely wrong.
HA, XD NO,YOU'RE NOT THE ONLYONE WHO WONDERED "THAT"...When I said that I don't think Leo ever loved her was because I started thinking about the odds, however, I (and several others) also thought the same as you—cause',well, it isn't that they don't see cute together,or don't they XP???
(About Mikey; i think i should have seen that before asking, lol)
¡HOLY COW! if you're right; that's then why Leo got see "Davianna" inBlind Trust
ya' know the next girl after Marcella (if it's her,of course) i hope Leo don't get hurt her, though,i do wanna know what would happen if he try to. And yes, i've been thinkin' about all the Splinter clons and Don's contact with the cursed objects these 17 years and...F**CK,I JUST REALIZED...now you say that ¡Donnie could be its damn vessel! ¿how did i never think of that? this is not good, geez! and yeah, he's good at avoiding sploilers! ¡¡¡i'm very hyped now!!! ¡I WANNA SEE THE PAGE 17! ¡I DON'T WANNA WAIT MORE! oh,and i agree with you; I wish Tigerfog would return and resume the comic. :( :/ :| :,(
Well, I somehow doubt Donatello himself (or any of his clones of himself) would be the vessel of the demon itself. But insane Donnie is still a useful idiot, believing he's doing all this for Splinter when he's actually being instructed by the demon, and even being deluded into believing that all the Donnie clones are "Leo." That said, if the demon could conceivably inhabit a clone of Splinter as a vessel, I suppose it's also theoretically possible that it could inhabit Donnie.
But then, why is the demon so intent on having Donnie keep trying to clone Splinter? Why Splinter specifically? What value is Splinter to the Orochi? Why couldn't the Orochi use a different vessel? Why must it be Splinter? Is it because the Tōtsuka Sword and Splinter formed the same pile of ashes? Is it because Splinter took the curse into his own body (thus temporarily relieving his sons) to enable Leonardo to destroy him and the sword together? I don't know.
See Yamata-no-Orochi/Gallery. This gallery page shows the demon in each of its vessel forms, as well as pages where the demon speaks psychically to Donatello.
That's simple; Maybe just Yamata-No-Orochi knows that they won't kill it if it come as their own father, even knowing that that could not be possible, they wouldn't want to kill it (or "him",as you wanna call it) However maybe Don could believe it...awww! (... or maybe Splinter just sold his soul to the devil and gave him permission to inhabit his body, don't ask me!!!)
Oh yeah, and you solved my question of if they are clones of Leo or of Don
I think Donnie's feelings for April will probably have some additional plot significance later. Note that April's in a very dangerous situation right now—trying to bring out a more virtuous side out of Donnie, while Donnie thinks this is his opportunity to woo April and also tell her his secrets. April doesn't understand the complete picture, and Donnie is extremely delusional. This volatile interaction has been continuing in the Jones Apartment through Chapter 23: Following the Leader and Chapter 24: Blind Trust.
Also recall that Carole, whom Shadow was babysitting, is still asleep somewhere else in the apartment (probably Shadow's room). Imagine what might happen if Carole and Donnie were to discover each other's presence, with April also there. Carole is fond of Donnie, but Donnie might panic because he technically kidnapped Carole back in Chapter 6: The Actor Who Has Never Performed Before, to use her as a hostage. And Shadow is currently drugged and sedated, so if anything dangerous were to happen, neither April nor Carole could easily defend themselves from Donnie. (I'm honestly not sure even Shadow could if she was awake.)
What's going to happen next? No clue. But just understanding that all these circumstances are in place, makes the story more engaging. Plot is rapidly unfolding in both the battlefield and in the apartment, and it makes the reader glued to each new page.
It can't be! all this time and i forgot Carole! (that happens to me because I haven't read the comic more than once,i'll do it) and now,can you tell me what you think about 2014 and 2016 TMNT,please?
I think they're garbage films.
i feel Mike like an annoying stupid and like he was less good person than his other versions.
I feel Raph like those guys who pretend to be rude and hard...unlike his other versions where he IS angry and moody, and though,he accepts that he has feeling, not like that movie. Also ¿since when they want to be human? ¡PLEASE!
I feel Don "nerdier" and annoying, too.
Leonardo is alright to me.
Nonetheless,i appreciate the references, homages and classic scenes.
I've actually been trying to make them easy to re-read here on the wiki. Every page is up, though some are edited for graphic violence because of Fandom's rules. (Those pages still have a link to the original unedited version, though.)
Haven't seen those movies. Was actually warned not to because they're so bad.
¡BEAUTIFUL! ¡I LOVE Master Gallery! You say it's unwieldy but, let me tell you that this wiki is very arranged, so,i guess it was very annoying that i uploaded the Donatello image,no matter that you say it's acceptable; because this wiki page is one of many that are selective and precise.
Now, what do you think of these two new episodes? (2012 serie)
And Master Gallery isn't just for browsing, but has a purpose: New images for wiki use are added in the Master Gallery first, and then in other galleries as needed. All other galleries are actually based on the Master Gallery; when I need to create a new gallery, I copy the Master Gallery's contents, and then remove all images that are not relevant to the new gallery.
Sigh* i undersatnd that you said you can be "stiff, cold and/or robotic at times" but you have to know what words to use. I like 2012 TV series, yeah,it's bored, silly and stupid at times but not because you haven't anything more to say,you must...
Aaaaaahhh,Which versions do you like to we can talk about,eh?
Hey, I really liked the first two seasons of 2K12, because they actually had plot, depth, character development, subtle details, easter eggs, all that. They really showed their homework, and built things carefully. Sometime in season 3 and completely in season 4, the writing became very lazy with wooden dialogue, inconsistent characterization, and outright character derailment. Practically everything I had liked about the series completely disappeared. It not only became very unenjoyable to me, but altogether unwatchable.
The kind of TMNT I don't like? I can't stand the 1987 TV series. It's the anti-TMNT to me—most of the things good TMNT is not. The 2012 series got really bad for a lot of reasons, but one of them was when it tried to become more and more like the 1987 series. Part of this was that the showrunners of the 1987 series weren't even pretending to try to make a good TMNT show—they were crystal clear that their sole motivation for making the show was marketing and selling toys. The result was very mind-numbing. But in general, when TMNT tries to be a mindless action-comedy with no convincing plot or drama, I almost never like it.
I'm mostly ambivalent to the 2003 TV series. I respect what it tried to do, but I think good TMNT shouldn't be for children anyway. I do like some things about it, though, and I've made a small handful of animated GIFs (not nearly as many as the 1000+ I made from the 2012 series).
I'm also mostly ambivalent to Archie TMNT. Even though it was based on the 1987 series, it was branched into a separate continuity, and it eventually developed its own style and substance, gradually maturing with its audience until it came to more resemble Mirage TMNT in storytelling style. This is because, unlike the 1987 series, Archie TMNT stories were usually written by Mirage staff (especially Stephen Murphy). So there are things I like from it as well.
Alright,i admit that i've been emotionally sensitive, and as this is written-you can get it wrong.
Look, in fact, i hate almost the whole third season (almost) and all time they were in space in the fourth, too. Also things like to change completely "City At War". They were bored and full of shity-fill. Even, i came to consider see the season 5 — i did it, but i don't recommend it,at least the first four episodes. however i liked a bit When Worlds Collide,Yojimbo and Osoroshi no Tabi.
Well, i like very much "City at War",too— i liked how Splinter had to reconsider how he was as father and as help. For some reason; i like see how they are lowered ego and pride to the people, you know,to give them a lesson.
And how the tutles corresponded to what they thought was their duty (and the whole thing with the old man, too. XD)
I honestly didn't like "Blind Sight" — I REALLY LIKE "BLAIND FAITH",I felt it well written.
Like i said; i've not read IDW and i don't know if i will. I'm reading first Archie Comics (and yeah,i would like 1987 TV Series had been like it). And men, you're older than me, untortunately Palladium no longer catches my attention-but i appreciate it.
I completely agree with you about 1987 series-nobody can endure it. It's full of bad parodies and bad jestings, i can't even think how just by that TMNT became famous ¡Just it cannot be! THAT is awful.
My favourite serie is 2K3 Series exactly because it is similar to Mirage. XD
Yes, I'm a middle-aged Generation X-er. I was born in 1980, and started reading Mirage and Palladium in the early 1990s. My first Mirage book was a graphic novel that serialized the first 10 or so Mirage issues, up through "True Stories". My first Palladium book was TMNT & Other Strangeness, Second Edition (1986, modifying the First Edition from 1985).
And yes, Palladium hasn't necessarily aged well. It's very much a creature of the mid-1980s. Even Victor Feral now "looks too much like Dr. Wily" (though Feral was actually designed first). But Palladium still contained many salvageable elements: The Terror Bears (themselves a dark parody of the Care Bears) seem to have inspired the creation of the Dream Beavers in the 2012 series. Similarly, Victor Feral seems to have been the partial inspiration for Victor Falco. It seems the 2012 series showrunners may have regretted killing off Falco, so they made reference of Don Visiozo's partnership with (the still unseen) "Doctor Farrell" ("Feral" and "Farrell" are pronounced the same in much of American English, though not in New York City).
When I was 10, I liked the 1990 film, which I later came to appreciate for being relatively closer to the Mirage material. However, it has not aged well, since it also incorporated the insane pizza-addiction and lame catch-phrases of the 1987 series, making some of the scenes really very awkward. I don't care much for the 1991 film or the 1993 film. The 2007 film was...okay. I haven't seen Turtles Forever. And I've been specifically cautioned never to watch the Michael Bay films, which are one big love letter to 1987 series fans (and to no one else).
Yeah,i've known something about the references of Feral and The Terror Bears :D (i read you profile in Turtlepedia, too)
And i watched the 1990 and 1991 films two times and 1993 film one time;First i thought i liked more the second movie (you know,i was child) but after reading the whole Mirage, we were (my brother and me) in love with the first. I liked a bit the thrid movie because i like very much martial arts (i could even notice that that's the version where Don fight better) but yes, i couldn't watch a little of the film without a facepalm of shame! My favourite film is the 2007 TMNT, you can see that it is just another turtles' adventure from Mirage...if that's the problem, but also it have a good dose of drama.
2009 film is a good movie but if you haven't watched the mostly of 2k3 Series and you can't stand 1987 TMNT... i don't recommend it to you.
I can't help you with it, but i hope you can find a good partner to play Palladium. :D
Nah, as it turned out, I didn't want to play Palladium. An actual gaming campaign could be a hassle. I mostly liked reading it. It was full of possibilities, long before I got my hands on most other TMNT comics.
I had forgotten it: You haven't to tell me that a good story about TMNT is the one that isn't for children; 'cuz i know it, my brother even intends to make a TMNT comic but only with the things he likes, of course ....and I think I'm with him in that.
Hey, a serious question: Which university career do you recommend to study? I like Gastronomy (specially confectionery) :)... but also,it catch my attention to train to be a hired assassin XD....
That's not easy to answer. It varies by version of TMNT, and by story. Also, I don't think of TMNT as four main turtles + everyone else. I see it as an ensemble of many characters that includes four turtles, but sometimes they're not the most interesting or important characters at all. I don't always consider them the only main characters either; I consider Mirage to be a story of seven main characters (Leo, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Splinter, April and Casey), and then later, Shadow makes eight.
Sorry for not replying,i've been a little bit too busy. Yes, With me it also depends on each version... but if you point me with a gun; i'd say that my favourite characters are Raph,Mike and Shadow.
Hey,i was going to edit my profile by adding an image (don't worry, is Back into the Shadows ' cover page) but i don't wanna make the same mistake twice... might you please tell me how i can give credit to the artist???
I wouldn't recommend uploading someone else's fanart without their permission. Tigerfog gave me permission for everything I uploaded here. The rest is fair use, but that's easier to claim when it's something widely published than when it's someone's relatively obscure fanart.
But you can link to any number of fanart links off-wiki. Like this:
Yeah,i tell you that you haven't to worry because the image i wanna upload it's Back Into The Shadows' cover page, that is; there's no problem, right? because i just must link the creator's name... Like this...?
I replaced the cover art on your page with the version already on the wiki, and deleted the smaller one you uploaded. It is entirely possible to have images embedded smaller than full size. All is well now. :)
Yeah, i knew that the cover page was already on the wiki, it's just , when i searched it, it didn't appear but i told you that i wasn't going to upload any image that isn't of MNT Gaiden,so,this wiki can continue to be organized :)
BTW, i will link some images and drawings of MNT Gaiden to you check them out,i think they must be in the wiki.
¡I LOVE Karai's Path'S COVER PAGE! i really like she has long hair and two of my 6 favourites colours are red and black!!! *swoon* XD. Ya know what? ...i like your art-likes (althougt, i perfer another turtles version, the rest is OK)
i think it's ... PIZZA TI—Ehem, i say, it's time to waste time exploring in here and here (T_T I want a pizzaaaaaa!)
I was already well aware of Tigerfog's other TMNT art (a lot of that is in my dA TMNT collection), but I didn't upload it to MNT Gaiden wiki galleries (including the Master Gallery) because it's not specifically MNT Gaiden art—it's general TMNT fan art. Tigerfog authorized me to upload MNT Gaiden-related art, and I haven't asked him for permission to upload any other kind of art, because I never saw the need to upload someone's non-MNT Gaiden-related fan art to an MNT Gaiden wiki, and indeed the admins on Turtlepedia would not have approved either back when the MNT Gaiden articles were still there.
Tigerfog is relevant as MNT Gaiden's creator, writer and artist, which is why he has an article here. But this wiki is dedicated specifically to one of his creations—MNT Gaiden—and was never intended to be a general Tigerfog-related wiki. Tigerfog does a good enough job managing his own galleries on art communities and social media, which is why his article on this wiki contains a list of external links to those other places.
So, my decision for now is, you can link to it off-wiki if you want, but I'm not going to authorize uploading most of it without some kind of reasonably justifiable exception.
I'm generally fond of Leatherhead also. The 2K12 version is my favorite version of the character, especially when he's with Mikey. But I also like the Mirage and 2K3 versions, and the Archie version Jess Harley seems okay (I still haven't read most of Archie). The IDW version is...interesting, but I don't know yet if I like him.
There is an article for Leatherhead on this wiki, but only because he has a cameo in Bakabakashii.
He,he, YEAH! ¡i like my little gallery! XD (But...what do you mean with "the gallery spam"?)
Ungh, now that you mention all the numbers where he appeared,i feel they're very, very few. :( And yes,i already read all of them—i love Triptyche and Threads X) and i really like how he's drawed in World’s Deadliest.
Well, "spam" has more than one slang meaning. In this sense, "spam" means to "post a lot of something", which itself is based on another slang meaning, "to attack repeatedly in a video game", which itself is based on another slang meaning, "to send a lot of junk mail". Sorry for the ambiguity. I guess it's clearer to call what you posted a "collection", much like my deviantART collections of other people's art.
And if you've read all those Leatherhead stories, then you know that he's already reunited with the Utroms, but chose to remain on Earth, and reunited with them again after they made formal public first contact with Earth in volume 4, and he's both working as a scientist again (as in Adventures in Bunnysitting) and still using the sewers (as in his fight with Gameraph in volume 4). We just don't know any more about his story after that. But considering the likely future shown in Dark Shadows (likely future for Shadow, but definite future where the Utroms evacuate most of the Earth's humans), and how the brave or heroic types chose to stay behind, then you have to consider Leatherhead's whole story and think of what kind of person he is. Would he evacuate with the Utroms (since he considers them his culture), or, would he stay behind on Earth (secure enough with his own role in the cosmos)? I imagine that, with a proper transmat built with proper Utrom resources (and not just the jury-rigged model he built with Dr. Xeinos), he might not even have to choose between the two. I mean, the Utroms evacuated with most of the humans, but Dark Shadows never necessarily implied they cut all ties with anyone living on Earth. And if we consider stories even further in the future, like Silent Night and Swan Song, it's clear that human society on Earth eventually does recover enough from the cataclysm to continue functioning again. And if someone like Leonardo lives to be over 100 years old (and Donatello even older, since he's the last of the four turtles to die), then how long do you think Leatherhead would live? This is all speculative though, and is no replacement for the missing remainder of the story Peter Laird still hasn't written or published.
It's okay, i thought it was a double meaning-joke, because I got blocked for "spam".
Yeeeaaaaah, maybe what i meant was "i don't even remember" instead i don't even know".Sorry 😂..Well,he's a good-... uhm... lizard, so if we think of Dark Shadows, then, i think he would probably prefer stay behind on Earth to help the brave survivors (i would be one of them,if you ask me) But, i agree with you; by that time, he should already have a...yes, proper and improved transmat,so that wouldn't be the trouble—it's only what i think.
And i definitely think that Silent Night and Swan Song gives the deserters survivers "hopeness" to come back Earth :) and no,i know it's not a remplacement... but i prefer that alternative future. (and i have to investigate how long crocodriles lives,it's interesing me)
(Sorry again for not replying, usually Mon and Sundays i'm busier.)
Yes. He's with The Mighty Mutanimals, isn't he? Look, the reason i haven't read IDW is because i've read in wikis there are many, many mutants and i don't like the idea of so many characters (which for me are just stuffed) BUT,HOWEVER... I'm gonna do it, and as he has appeared in three story arcs, all the more reason! :)
No, IDW's Leatherhead is not in the Mutanimals. He takes a different path than most versions of the character.
And yeah, IDW has a lot of mutants. However, it also has the recurring problem that the four central turtle characters (as well as Aprila nd Casey) are some of the most underdeveloped character-wise, because Viacom routinely forbids IDW writing decisions that would develop them too far beyond their formulaic templates (or more, say, than their 2012 TV series versions are allowed to). However, many of the other mutant and anthropomorphic animal characters are excellently developed, especially the IDW versions of Splinter, Hob, Slash, Bebop, Rocksteady and, yes, Leatherhead too, though these characters only make occasional appearances with a lot of character development packed in. Even IDW Pigeon Pete is far better developed and used in IDW than the 2012 series version that inspired his design. So it's not exactly the best series for the main characters, but has a lot of good supporting characters.
Oooh,well... i think i mistook him for Slash, je (Me in my interior full of pride and shame.)
Yeah, i like Old Hob: Especially due to his first encounter with the turtles, and... of course; his personality, at least for the little that i know about it. Ungh, Splinter excellently developed? that's weird, although,it has come to happen that there are versions where he develops much better (like his part in the story-arc "City at War" and 2K12 version) and i appreciate when he is.
PETE!!??? that IS surprising. Ok,that sounds good.
Yes, IDW Splinter is...not entirely like most other versions of the character. He's a loving father, a dedicated teacher, and he has a strong belief in what is right and wrong. However, he was also a life-long Foot Ninja, and everything that comes with that. Just as Eikichi Gotoh explained to Davianna in MNT Gaiden, a ninja clan acts with a focused, combined objective and is above acts of personal indulgence, and yet the acts it can commit to achieve its objective can still be extremely cold and ruthless, including the murder of innocent or defenseless people. When Splinter only had his sons to look after, he was a likable family man who taught ninjutsu as a martial art. But when he finally resumes control of the Foot Clan that ousted him, he has to run what is and always has been a criminal organization, and that makes him a crime boss. And it's not like he changed and became a gangster—he always was a gangster, and his sons were never quite prepared for this reality when it finally unfolds in front of their eyes. This makes Splinter a very complex character, neither entirely good nor evil, and not their enemy, but something far more convincing: A flawed, realistic human personality.
😢😭 The f**ck! ¿¡How is it possible that you can explain precisely how i always wanted a true Splinter!? (that means; Yes, i like IDW Splinter, now.) ¡But when i try to explain my point of view... it always makes it sound like i'm insulting him or adoring him... BUT NO! Let me tell you that you just explained an incredibly developed character :)
Yeah, i love IDW Slash, too— but i never thought he was "the rational voice" and i already know Mikey left and joined with The Mutanimals (but why?)
and i think that instead of "i appreciate when he is."i should have written "i appreciate when he is so." right?
I don't want to spoil everything, now. But Mikey's stint in the Mutanimals is part of a story arc that also develops Hob, Slash and the dynamic of the Mutanimals as a group. I'll also say that Mikey's temporarily in the Mutanimals for reasons related to his separation from the rest of his family.
Also, you know how 2K12 had the episode "Turtle Temper" where Splinter counsels Raphael that he too used to have an anger management problem in his youth? That seems to have been inspired by a similarly-themed scene between IDW Splinter and IDW Raphael, and it's far more intense than just a talk in the kitchen.
Hey, i just noticed that when Mirage Donatello took Splinter's DNA in TMNT Vol. 4 #11 he should have take it for something else,i mean,NOT for help Raph like he said in TMNT Vol. 4 #32—because he took it before Raph became Gameraph . I always knew Don was hiding "some interesing experiment" -_- =_=
I ... didn't understand, I mean; Was it a question? And what do you mean by "'my"? Or ... Are you saying that I'm supposed to know that we do that with the DNA of others? is it that? Because if that is (and for your information;) No, I didn't know, but, is there any problem with that? HUH?
Well, I can see how a lot of people wouldn't think it's normal to take DNA samples from deceased relatives. But it's normal in my family, so I didn't think anything strange about Donatello taking a sample. Though anyone who wants to do that has to remember that a lock of hair alone does not contain DNA (no cell nuclei), so you need real DNA sources such as hair follicles.
¡¿Really!? (Although, i don't see in what way) Uh oh, I need to improve my English, by the way, thanks for talking to me, it helps me to keep improving it. I still mistake some things for others, (like "see" for "watch" or those things) but i'm doing it better!
On another subject, i know this doesn't belong to Tigerfog nor anything but could be to your liking : tmnticegal25. There are stuff i don't like, but it seems... meh, okay.
(I think that...) I DID IT, I FINALLY ACHIEVE IT! ¡I TALKED TO The S by Facebook AND HE'S THINKING WHETHER TO UNBLOCK ME ¡I'M SO EXCITED! XD XP XD XP YOU WERE RIGHT; HE IS A GOOD MODERATOR OF OTHER PEOPLE. When i read IDW we'll talk about those scenes, many attract my attention :) I think it will be Gastronomy! :P What is your favourite musical genre?
Yes, The S is a good moderator of other people. I'm not, but at least I don't expect the MNT Gaiden Wiki to get so much attention to create unresolvable conflict.
And yes, IDW TMNT is good for a lot of supporting characters. But when a story arc features mainly just the four turtles, the character writing can become painfully staid, with a few notable exceptions. At least now there's a sideseries, TMNT Universe (IDW's equivalent to Mirage's Tales of the TMNT) where more sidestories are told. And there are occasional special miniseries like Mutanimals, Bebop & Rocksteady Destroy Everything, and Dimension X.
And what about gastronomy?
I don't really like one monolithic favorite music genre. I just like whatever music I like.
Well, I do cook sometimes... I make most of my own pizzas at home from store-bought ingredients: Thin crust, San Marzano tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, mozzarella balls, grated parmesan. No olive oil. The pizzas I make are a simple, light food.
For each pizza, I take two tomatoes (and sometimes a basil leaf), blend them very briefly and coarsely (for a chunky salsa-like consistency), and then mix in maybe a teaspoon or so of balsamic vinegar. I don't strain or reduce the tomato sauce—I leave in all the juices and liquid, but the chunky consistency helps prevent it from flowing around like a liquid. I slice off 1/8 of a mozzarella ball and dice the slice into about 24 pieces. I preheat the oven to 400F or 425F (depending on crust and preference), and I arrange the sauce on the crust. Then I arrange the mozzarella pieces in a grid pattern (so the finished pizza can be easily sliced into four pieces), and sprinkle a bit of grated parmesan on top. I bake for 7 or 8 minutes (again, depending on crust and preference), then it's done. The pizza is really hot at first, but it cools fast.
I typically eat the entire pizza at once, which is most practical if the crust is really thin. But my regular brand of store-bought thin pizza crust was recently discontinued, so I'm still looking for a new brand that isn't too thick or sugared, but for now I have to choose between thin or no-sugar-added, which annoys me.
You are always so honest, right? ...Don't be so literal, nobody has only one favorite musical genre. Such as me: I really like Hip Hop (rap), Reggae (this is mistaken so many times for "reggaeton",but i hate that stuff) Rock 'n' Roll and sometimes classical music and seldom Pop. It's varied... see? :)
No, i think it won't get so much attention, just look at me... i'm the first.
Your salsa seems okay, but i recommend you to add a bit of garlic, oregano and thyme—If you want,of course. I make them by incorporatingoaxaca cheeseandmanchego instead of Mozzarella because it is sometimes much tasteless. (And i prefer that Manchego bitter-taste) Manchego and Oaxaca are also an recommendable option. I can't recommend you any flour because that's my problem with my cakes and pizzas... or it could be my oven...? Unfortunately, i couldn't even have time to find out by trying on another oven.
And, well, seeing that there's many sidestories now... do you like IDW Bepop and Rocksteady characters? I mean, they have a more developed personality? Anyway, there are several sidestories i'm pretty sure i wanna read.
Yeah, sorry, sometimes I'm a wee bit literal, by accident.
Sorry, I think something might have been lost in translation. When I said "salsa-like consistency", I was referring to the word "salsa" as it is used in English. The general English word for sauce is "sauce", but the word "salsa" refers mainly just to Tex-Mex salsa and picante sauce, so "chunky salsa-like consistency" means that the thickness and texture of the sauce is like that of chunky Tex-Mex salsa.
Anyway, I prefer my pizzas to remain relatively light and simple. I don't like too much grease, or too much cheese, and I seldom put meat on my pizzas, either. I like the fundamental flavors to come through without too much interruption—the tomatoes, the basil, the balsamic, the two cheeses—and not make the flavor too "busy". I especially don't use olive oil because, in my experience, it overpowers the other ingredients and makes the pizza taste more bland.
IDW Bebop and Rocksteady are actually pretty well developed. The Villains Micro-series issue for Bebop Rocksteady and the later miniseries "Bebop & Rocksteady Destroy Everything" feature them as the main characters, and develops some of their backstory, their motivations, etc. (B&RDE is also an oblique crossover with the Mirage TMNT continuity, as it involves Mirage's Savanti Romero, and establishes that IDW's Renet is actually the same person as Mirage's Renet.)
As far as other characters that get some noteworthy development? Besides Splinter, Bebop and Rocksteady, there's also Alopex, Baxter Stockman, Chet Manley, Lindsey Baker, Oroku Karai, Oroku Saki, Kitsune, General Krang, Arnold Jones (Casey's father), Harold Lillja, Angel Bridge, Old Hob, Slash, Pete, Seymour Gutz, Man Ray, Sally Pride, Jennika, Aka, Leatherhead, Metalhead, Agent Bishop, Toad Baron, Bludgeon, Koya...
Lol, my father always said "much seasoning eliminates the true flavor" XD
Oh, i would like very much to see Bebop and Rocksteady's thoughts and lifes... something besides being bullied and humiliated from (a pathetic) Shredder. And i like when there are crossovers with characters from other serie, comic or film; So i'll enjoy it (with th rest of the characters)
Yes, I think I'd agree with your father on that. Like, when it comes to ice cream, I prefer plain chocolate ice cream over rocky road or chocolate fudge brownie, because those are flavor embellishments that partially dull the star of the show: Chocolate. (Brownies have grain, etc., that affects the overall flavor.) And other members of my family have bewildered that I like the flavor of fruits like peach, which they generally consider bland. (Strawberry is more popular in my family.) But peach is a very nuanced, subtle, aromatic flavor, and I prefer it. So when it comes to pizza, I like the basic ingredients to be the star of the show. San Marzano tomatoes especially, since they are naturally a little sweet and you don't need to add any sugar. (Most common pizza sauce is made with Roma tomatoes and added sugar. But I don't taste the sugar as sweetness—I taste the sugar as sugar, and it's not always welcome.) And basil helps, as it is traditionally a part of pizza. Balsamic vinegar is a personal choice—a very small amount of it goes a long way, so I add only a tiny amount, but it's still usually enough to turn the sauce crimson in color. Mozzarella flavor is better encapsulated in cubes than in grated cheese flakes, especially considering that mozzarella dries and hardens (and loses some flavor) on contact with air. And parmesan is nice in modest amounts—I don't add any salt to my pizza directly, so I prefer any saltiness to come in small amounts through the flavors of ingredients rather than through rock salt (which, again, doesn't actually taste salty, but tastes like rock salt to me). Still, when I make homemade pizzas for other people, I tend to add a dash of sea salt to the sauce, or they'll complain that my pizzas are bland. I guess I'm just very sensitive to certain flavors, and some flavors can overpower if I'm not careful.
Yeah, IDW's Bebop and Rocksteady are the most well-developed versions of those characters. I mean, I like the Archie versions, but it still often feels like their pacifism and environmentalism are shoehorned elements...which I still actually like, but their underdevelopedness reflects the occasional shortcomings of Stephen Murphy's writing. IDW's human backstories of B&R are about as well-developed as Steranko and Zeck. Note that Steranko and Zeck's character development died as soon as they became Shredder's mooks, just like nearly everyone else who starts to work for him. However, though IDW B&R don't appear super-often, they have continued to develop in bits and pieces even during their time with the Foot Clan, and continue to develop when they became unemployed when the Shredder finally dies. What I especially like is how, once we've really got to know them as characters instead of just one-dimensional mooks, they change up their appearance (as real people often do), like in those "Savage Bebop and Rocksteady" and "Bebop and Rocksteady's new look" scenes I linked further up. For example, Bebop went from his signature mohawk to dreadlocks, then went to simply letting his hair go unkempt, all while keeping his hair color purple.
And yes, I think I saw that Tigerfog comment before. Don't forget that I've corresponded with Tigerfog at length about many topics.
On the contrary of me, I love everything that is spicy, although,I agree with you about ice cream; in fact, a few days ago I ate one of blackberry and cheese but I decided cover it with liquid chocolate (which didn't taste like chocolate) and nuts but they messed it up (and I had prefer of plain cheese,BTW) Seems you're not only visually sensitive, but also palatably. Many times, I have wanted to make my desserts less ... is there a way to say "spicy" in sweet things? Well, you understand me,right? but I get excited and i add more ingredients. I hate when pizzas have sugar—I really don't like to aggregate it to them. (I do, when it comes to the dough ,but not in the sauce.)
DEFINITELY, even a child could notice that Zeck and Steranko's developements died when they joined to Saki. It's actually sad how they and others never "matured". And yes, I saw them—they finally changed their clothes! Actually—Doesn't matter they're from 1987 Series— I always like them so much.
And I did NOT say "comment" I said "comments''" ;
He said :
Yeah, there's a third and final part to Leonardo's flashback. It's coming up later and I plan to make it the most memorable of them all.
Hehe, actually if you look at this page and connect the dots correctly, you can guess exactly what will happen in the third (and last) flashback of Leo in Japan.
So, What do you think 'bout it? Or... are you saying that you already know what and how is Leo's third flashback 'cuz' you talked to Tigerfog?
You're right, I am sensitive to certain foods. But I still don't like sugar in pizza crust—it adds unwelcome noise to the overall flavor. I like sweetness in two and only two ingredients: San Marzano tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. The natural fruit sugars in both (from tomatoes and much less from grapes) are well-suited for pizza, and for Italian food in general.
Zeck and Steranko (and Bradford and Xever) did get some additional character development in Job Security, a story arc in Amazing Adventures (non-canon to the TV series, though).
Tigerfog already told me there'd be a third flashback. But he's still keeping the exact details close to his chest. In fact, of the events that have since been revealed in the story, the only one he told that was a spoiler, was that Marcella's mother already appeared in an earlier chapter. When I spotted a woman resembling Marcella in Leonardo's first Yata-no-Kagami vision of random Morinagas, he confirmed that it was Marcella's mother, which is why it's now the profile picture in that character's article (which I only wrote after Tigerfog revealed it to everyone else):
Okay, thank you for awnsering. The truth is... I'm really impatient and desperate, but I have no choice but to wait.
